LinkedIn Profile Posts Archive API
Returns a LinkedIn member's deep post archive, read from their own feed rather than a search index, with the exact publish timestamp, media and the full engagement breakdown including share counts.
GET /v1/linkedin/profile/posts/archiveLast updated November 2026Maintained by the SocialCrawl team
When to use the LinkedIn Profile Posts Archive API
Use it only when profile/posts (up to 100 posts; 5 credits to 50, then 2 per post) and search/posts with from_member run out of depth. Metered at 5 credits per post returned.
From the API reference
Returns a LinkedIn member's posts read from their own feed rather than from a public search index, and it is **the only route that reaches a member's complete history**. Measured on one prolific member 07/09/2026: this endpoint walked about 1,800 posts back to June 2017 and then stopped because there was nothing older, while /v1/linkedin/profile/posts caps at 100 and walking /v1/linkedin/search/posts with from_member exhausts at about 395. How far back it reaches is a property of the member, not of this endpoint: when a page comes back with no next_cursor, you have everything. Each post carries the text, media, the exact publish timestamp and the full engagement breakdown including share counts. **It is not the cheapest lane.** /v1/linkedin/profile/posts returns up to 50 posts for a flat 5 credits, or up to 100 at 2 credits a post, and is the whole history for most members, so start there and come here when it is not enough, or when you need what it cannot give you: an exact publish timestamp on every row instead of an approximation that shifts between calls, the share count, and a guarantee that every row was written by the member rather than reshared by them. **To walk the archive, pass limit=100 and follow next_cursor until it stops coming back.** A limit below 100 returns that many of the newest posts and no cursor, because a partial page cannot be continued without silently skipping the rest of it. **Pricing is metered at 5 credits per post RETURNED**, so a member who has posted fewer than your limit costs less than you asked for, and a member with no posts costs nothing. Reposts are excluded, so every row you are charged for is one the member wrote. A profile we cannot find comes back as an empty list and costs nothing.

What can you do with the Profile Posts Archive API?
The Profile Posts Archive endpoint gives you structured LinkedIn data with computed fields in a single request. No scraping infrastructure to build or maintain.
Example Request
# GET /v1/linkedin/profile/posts/archive: Metered: holds 500 credits per page up front and refunds what the call does not use. Cache hits are free and failed calls are refunded.
# Check the price first for 0 credits: add dry_run=1 to the query. Nothing is fetched or charged.
# --max-time 60: the API's own time limit for this endpoint.
# --retry 3: retries timeouts, 429 and 5xx, honoring Retry-After.
# -o response.json keeps only the final attempt's body.
# One Idempotency-Key per request, reused on every retry, so a retried call is never charged twice.
# Next page: send pagination.next_cursor back as cursor until pagination.has_more is false.

}
console.log(`${items.length} items`);Parameters
| Parameter | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| url | Yes | The member's LinkedIn profile URL, for example https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates/. |
| limit | No | How many posts to return, 1 to 100 (default 20). Pass 100 to walk the full archive: only a full page returns a `next_cursor`. You are charged 5 credits for each post actually returned, not for the limit you asked for. |
| pagination_token | No | The `next_cursor` from the previous page. Omit it for the newest posts. |
| since | No | Only rows published on or after this date: YYYY-MM-DD (midnight UTC) or an ISO 8601 timestamp. Rows older than it are left off each page. This list is not in date order, so the walk does not stop at the date: keep following `next_cursor`, and each page costs what a page costs even when every row on it is filtered out. A row with no date is kept. `published_after`, `start_date`, `from_date`, `publish_time` (`yesterday`, `this-week`, `this-month`, `last-3-months`, `last-6-months`) and `max_age_days` are accepted and applied as `since`. |
| until | No | Only rows published on or before this date: YYYY-MM-DD (that whole UTC day is included) or an ISO 8601 timestamp. Newer rows are left off each page and the walk does not stop, so older pages follow. A row with no date is kept. `published_before`, `end_date` and `to_date` are accepted and applied as `until`. |
| max_pages | No | 1 to 50 (default 1, or 50 when `max_items` or `max_credits` is sent). Walk up to this many pages in one call and return the rows from all of them. Each page walked is billed exactly as one call to this endpoint (a cached page is free) and counts against your rate limit; its charge and any refund are recorded under the page's own request id, listed in `data.walk.request_ids`. The walk stops early at the last page, or when the request's time budget runs low; `data.walk.stopped` says why (`end`, `max_pages`, `max_items`, `max_credits`, `time_budget`, `page_error`) and `pagination.next_cursor` continues from where it stopped. |
| max_items | No | 1 to 5000. Get more in one call: keep walking pages until the response holds at least this many rows, then stop with `data.walk.stopped: "max_items"`. The last page is returned whole (it was billed), so `data.items` can hold up to one page more than this, and `pagination.next_cursor` resumes right after it without skipping a row. Walks up to 50 pages unless `max_pages` says fewer; each page is billed as one call (a cached page is free). Add `max_credits` to cap the spend. A long walk can stop on the time budget first (`"time_budget"`): send the returned cursor with the same params to continue. |
| max_credits | No | 1 to 100000. The most this call may spend, across every page it walks. A page starts only while the credits already spent plus that page's price (or, when higher, the most any page of this walk has cost) still fit, so the call never goes past it; the walk then stops with `data.walk.stopped: "max_credits"` and the cursor to resume. Sent alone, it walks as far as the budget goes (up to 50 pages). A value below the price of one page is a free 400 whose `error.details.page_credits` names that price. Credits a row join (`include=`) adds are known only once a page has run, so page 1 is checked against its own price. |

Their resilience in spite of that has been remarkable, but there’s still so much work to do. Supporting the Global Fund is one of the best investments we can make in the health and well-being of future generations.",
