LinkedIn Company API

Returns a LinkedIn company page: company name, description, follower count, headquarters location, website, and logo.

GET /v1/linkedin/company

Last updated November 2026Maintained by the SocialCrawl team

When to use the LinkedIn Company API

Use it to look up a company by its page URL, and to get the numeric company_id that the other company endpoints need.

From the API reference

Returns public information about a LinkedIn company page. Canonical fields carry the identity and reach: author.id (the numeric company_id the other /company/* endpoints take), username, display_name, bio (the company description), avatar_url (logo), followers, location (flattened HQ), and verified. The complete **About tab** rides in author.ext: website, public_phone (the phone number the page lists), employee_count and employee_count_range, founded_year, specialities[], industries[], headquarters (structured {country, city, geographic_area, line1, line2, postal_code}), locations[] (every office LinkedIn lists, with lat/long), hashtags[], cover_url, and page_active. Fields a page has not filled in come back null rather than omitted, so founded_year is null on a company that never set a founding date and public_phone is null on a page that lists no phone. Add include=about for the two About-tab fields the plain call does not reliably carry: company_type (LinkedIn's "Type", for example "Public Company" or "Privately Held") and tagline (the page's one-line slogan). The plain call sometimes carries them too, when a backup source answered, so do not rely on it for them. funding is mapped too, but LinkedIn returned an empty funding block for every company measured on 2026-08-11, so do not depend on it.

Parameters

ParameterRequiredDescription
urlYesFull URL of the LinkedIn company page
includeNoSet to `about` (one token only) to add the page's company type (`author.ext.company_type`, for example "Public Company") and tagline (`author.ext.tagline`) when the plain call returned without them. 3 extra credits, kept only when one of the two comes back; a page that sets neither is refunded. Adds about 7 to 18 seconds when a lookup runs; read `data.hydration` for the credits held and kept and the time. (about)
