Naver Place Rank API

Returns where one Naver Place ranks on Naver Map for up to 10 keywords from one point: organic rank, a 100+ label when absent, result totals and the top places.

GET /v1/naver/place/rank

Last updated November 2026Maintained by the SocialCrawl team

When to use the Naver Place Rank API

Use it to track a clinic or shop's daily Place rank per keyword. Use naver/place/search to see the whole list.

From the API reference

Returns where one Naver Place ranks in the Naver Map result list for up to 10 keywords, searched from one point, under data.results[]: rank (1-based, organic places only, ad slots are never counted), found, rank_label (100+ when the place is not in the top 100), total_results, the place's visitor and blog review counts, and the places ranked at the top (top). Naver ranks by distance from the person searching, so the point matters: send lat and lng to search from a spot, or leave them out and the search is made from the place itself (the point used is echoed under data.point, with source set to place or request). Set ads=true to also report the place's position among the paid 플레이스 광고 slots (ad_rank). Every number sits at a fixed path (data.results[0].rank), so a Monitor can track it daily.

Naver API

What can you do with the Place Rank API?

The Place Rank endpoint gives you structured Naver data with computed fields in a single request. No scraping infrastructure to build or maintain.

Example Request

# GET /v1/naver/place/rank: Metered: holds 10 credits per call up front and refunds what the call does not use. Cache hits are free and failed calls are refunded.
# Check the price first for 0 credits: add dry_run=1 to the query. Nothing is fetched or charged.
# --max-time 60: the API's own time limit for this endpoint.
# --retry 3: retries timeouts, 429 and 5xx, honoring Retry-After.
# -o response.json keeps only the final attempt's body.
# One Idempotency-Key per request, reused on every retry, so a retried call is never charged twice.
