Instagram Post Likers API
Returns a sample of the accounts that liked a post, each with username, display name, avatar, and verification status, plus the full like count.
GET /v1/instagram/post/likersLast updated November 2026Maintained by the SocialCrawl team
When to use the Instagram Post Likers API
Use it to see who liked a post, accepting that Instagram exposes only about the first 100 likers however many likes the post has.
From the API reference
Returns a sample of the accounts that liked an Instagram post. Each liker includes username, display name, avatar URL, verification status, and profile URL, alongside the post's total like count in total. Instagram exposes a ranked slice rather than the whole list, usually around a thousand accounts on a popular post: the endpoint does not paginate, and total reflects the full like count rather than the number of retrievable likers, so expect items.length to be far smaller than total on a post with many likes. total can be null when the last backup source served the call, because that source reports no reliable like count; read the count from /v1/instagram/post/stats instead.

What can you do with the Post Likers API?
The Post Likers endpoint gives you structured Instagram data with computed fields in a single request. No scraping infrastructure to build or maintain.
Example Request
# GET /v1/instagram/post/likers: 5 credits per call. Cache hits are free and failed calls are refunded.
# Check the price first for 0 credits: add dry_run=1 to the query. Nothing is fetched or charged.
# --max-time 10: this endpoint's measured p99 latency x 1.5.
# --retry 3: retries timeouts, 429 and 5xx, honoring Retry-After.
# -o response.json keeps only the final attempt's body.
# One Idempotency-Key per request, reused on every retry, so a retried call is never charged twice.

|---|---|---|
| url | Yes | URL of the Instagram post (a /p/ or /reel/ link). A share link copied from the app (`instagram.com/share/...`) works too; a share link to a profile is refused at no charge with the handle to send, and a dead one is a free 404. |
| safe_url | No | When true, returns URL-safe profile picture links suitable for embedding. |
