Trustpilot Reviews History API
Starts a background job that collects up to depth reviews (1 to 10,000) of one business on Trustpilot by its domain, and returns its job id right away, holding depth plus 5 credits.
POST /v1/trustpilot/reviews/historyLast updated November 2026Maintained by the SocialCrawl team
When to use the Trustpilot Reviews History API
Use it when you need more of a company's review history than GET /v1/trustpilot/reviews returns (200 at most); read the reviews later by job id with offset and limit.
Not for a quick look at a company's latest reviews (trustpilot/reviews) or reviews of one product (Amazon or Google Shopping reviews).
From the API reference
Starts a background job (202) that collects up to depth reviews (1 to 10000) for one Trustpilot domain. The body takes only domain and depth; any other field is a free 400. The 202 returns data.job_id, status, credits_hold (depth + 5), credits_charged (null until the job settles) and expires_at (7 days). A run that cannot start is a refunded 502. On settlement you pay 5 plus 1 per review collected, even when the run stopped early; the rest is refunded. Read a page with GET /v1/trustpilot/reviews/history/{job_id}?offset=&limit=. GET /v1/trustpilot/reviews is unchanged and still returns at most 200 reviews.

What can you do with the Reviews History API?
The Reviews History endpoint gives you structured Trustpilot data with computed fields in a single request. No scraping infrastructure to build or maintain.
Example Request
# POST /v1/trustpilot/reviews/history: Metered: holds 777 credits per call up front and refunds what the call does not use. Cache hits are free and failed calls are refunded.
# Check the price first for 0 credits: add dry_run=1 to the query. Nothing is fetched or charged.
# --max-time 60: the API's own time limit for this endpoint.
# This endpoint does not take an Idempotency-Key, so a call that timed out or dropped is not retried: it may have run.
