Prism Store Author or Exclude List API
Creates a list of up to 10,000 author handles (author_list_id) or 50,000 post ids, URLs or account keys to exclude (exclude_list_id), and returns its id, item count and expiry, free.
POST /v1/prism/discover/inputsLast updated November 2026Maintained by the SocialCrawl team
When to use the Prism Store Author or Exclude List API
Use it when the list of authors to keep, or of posts you already hold, is too long for a URL; pass the returned id as author_list_id or exclude_list_id to prism/discover.
From the API reference
Stores a list of up to 10,000 author handles and returns author_list_id, which prism/discover accepts in place of a long authors list that would not fit in a URL. POST a JSON body { "kind": "authors", "authors": ["handle", "@handle", "https://x.com/handle", "twitter:handle"] }. A bare handle matches on any platform; a platform:handle entry only on that platform. The list is encrypted at rest, belongs to your account only, and expires after 30 days. Each account can hold 20 lists at once. With { "kind": "exclude", "exclude": ["rd_0123456789ab", "https://www.reddit.com/r/.../comments/...", "reddit:handle"] } it stores up to 50,000 evidence ids, post URLs or account keys you already hold and returns exclude_list_id: prism/discover never returns a row it names, from any API key of your account. An exclude list expires 30 days after it was stored, or 31 days after the last run that read it, and counts toward the same 20 lists. Only author and exclude lists are stored here: send context and questions in the body of POST /v1/prism/discover. Free.
