AliExpress API

What can you do with the Product API?

The Product endpoint gives you structured AliExpress data with computed fields in a single request. No scraping infrastructure to build or maintain.

Example Request

# GET /v1/aliexpress/product: 5 credits per call. Cache hits are free and failed calls are refunded.
# Check the price first for 0 credits: add dry_run=1 to the query. Nothing is fetched or charged.
# --max-time 60: the API's own time limit for this endpoint.
# --retry 3: retries timeouts, 429 and 5xx, honoring Retry-After.
# -o response.json keeps only the final attempt's body.
# One Idempotency-Key per request, reused on every retry, so a retried call is never charged twice.

Contact us
Do I need an AliExpress API key to get product data?
No. Call GET /v1/aliexpress/product with your SocialCrawl key and a product_id or a url. You do not need an AliExpress developer or affiliate account.
What does the AliExpress product endpoint return?
One product with title, sale price, original price, currency, shop name, images, sold count and category. Reviews and description are not part of it, so call the reviews endpoint for review text.
Can I pass a product URL instead of an id?
Yes. Pass the full aliexpress.com/item/{id}.html URL as url and the id is read from the path. Or pass the numeric product_id directly, for example 3256812847028710.
How do I get the price in my own currency?
Add currency, country and language. Currency takes an ISO code such as USD, GBP, EUR, JPY or KRW, and country is the two-letter ship-to code. Displayed price and availability follow those two values.
What does a 404 mean and is it billed?
It means the product does not exist or is not sold to the country you chose. It is not billed. Try another country before you assume the product is gone.
How much does an AliExpress product lookup cost?
Each call costs 5 credits on the advanced tier. New accounts get 100 free credits, about 20 lookups, and credits for failed calls are refunded automatically. There is no subscription.
