How we compute this
We search Instagram for 6 broad Reels discovery hashtags via /v1/instagram/search/hashtag (media_type=reels), collect the 168 returned Reels, and extract every hashtag from their captions. Tags are ranked by how many sampled Reels use each, tie-broken by aggregate views across 474 distinct hashtags seen in the sample. There is no native trending-Reels leaderboard on Instagram; this is a best-effort computed sample.
